With me watching some episodes multiple times afterwards. I loved the first season so much that I was able to watch all the episodes in around 3 days. This is why so many people think this season was "filler" when it was straight from the novels. All other characters need to be developed in context of this main theme. The best episodes this year are where Shiroe is leading a team either in battle or in a political contest and he is awesome, the further the story moves away from that main theme the worse it becomes. I won't go into the obvious faults of this season, but for future novels I think it wise to focus on the team, not a parts (except Shiroe). Put those two things together and we can guess what was being suggested (though maybe not where the writer wants to go). Which raises the question of both why she left and why Inticus calls Shiroe "the traitor" immediately after (Kanami leaving is why she hates Shiroe so much). 3-4 years ago was when Kanami left Log Horizon and went to Europe, that is not a coincidence. I think there was far more to that scene. ![]() ![]() ![]() Shiroe was shocked and looked a bit sad since he probably had feelings for her. I felt a bit bad for Shiroe because Kanami mentioned she has a kid. ![]() Well at least Akatsuki knows Kanami's voice.
